SUSAN HURST, FOUNDER
Lady Biker Gifts is a unique website developed by an enthusiastic lady biker from Central New York, Susan Hurst.
Susan is happily married to her business and life partner, Johnny. They attend all biker events together promoting Lady Biker Gifts and the unique items they offer as well as promoting and advocating motorcycling rights in Florida.
Susan is probably the most enthusiastic and positive person one would meet in a lifetime. She is committed to maintaining quality and integrity in the products she sells and the industry she represents.
Her trademark is the color pink. One year she had her motorcycle custom painted two tone pink with white roses! Her other business, Pink Rose Publications and Marketing, is another successful endeavor. Since 1991, Pink Rose Publications and Marketing has successfully marketed and published Susan's two books: Women and Motorcycling and her recent success, Women and Motorcycling: The Early Years.
 Always an advocate for women motorcyclists, Susan generally shares her many stories and research with motorcyclists around the country. In 1990, she was crowned Americade Queen at Lake George, New York. She has been a featured speaker at many events, rallies, and conventions, and is willing to lend a hand at many motorcycling functions.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Susan Hurst won an acknowledgement for her contributions to the motorcycling industry and motorcycling community from Born To Ride Magazine. Susan is the Editorial Director of the magazine and writes a monthly column, "Women's World." Born To Ride Multimedia says, "Susan Hurst is an inspiration to women riders and a leader."
Johnny Martin, in his book "For The Love of Motorcycling" said in his book about Susan, "She is a pioneer in promoting women motorcyclists in a positive light and fights for the rights of motorcyclists everywhere. There are many women who are well known as championing the cause of women in the motorcycle world, but she was the first! The reason no one knows of her is because of her modesty. She hates to brag and toot her own horn. There are other women, who shall go nameless, that are all me, me, me. They are the ones who are well known because they insist that they are. Susan prefers to bring attention to the women who rode motorcycles back in the 1920’s and 30’s. These are the women who made the sacrifices to ride a motorcycle back when they were ostracized from society for daring to do something that many considered to be a man’s sport.
Susan has written 2 books about this subject. Women & Motorcycling, and her best seller, Women & Motorcycling: The Early Years. If you were to look on Amazon.com, you will find many books about lady bikers. Susan’s books were the first! She is an unsung hero to women’s motorcycling rights and no one even knows it. There are female writers who acknowledge Susan as a pioneer in the field, but most prefer to allow people to think they are the pioneers, without naming their inspiration. This inspiration is Susan!
